At We Are Indigo, our commitment to community impact is at the heart of everything we do. Last December, we proudly announced our long-term partnership with Eat Well MCR, a Manchester-based collective dedicated to providing chef-made meals to those facing economic hardship across Greater Manchester.
Since the partnership began, We Are Indigo has led media communications and creative campaigns for Eat Well MCR, helping to elevate their message and support their essential initiatives. As we continue this journey in 2024, we’re excited to shine a light on one of the key projects we’re supporting the upcoming “Eat Well, Do Good” Festival.
Introducing the “Eat Well, Do Good” Festival
This October, Eat Well MCR will host the “Eat Well, Do Good” Festival—a week-long series of events and fundraising activities running from the 21st to the 27th. The festival is a celebration of Manchester’s hospitality community, uniting chefs, restaurants, and volunteers to raise vital funds for Eat Well MCR’s ongoing efforts.
The festival will feature some of Manchester’s most beloved culinary names—including Ramona, Maray, and chef Caroline Martins—who will offer special dishes, drinks, and events with proceeds going directly to support Eat Well MCR’s mission. With over 7,000 homeless children in Greater Manchester, the work of Eat Well MCR is more crucial than ever. Through this festival, we can help deliver meals to those in need, whether they are families in sheltered accommodation, parents of children in hospitals, or individuals facing food poverty.
Looking Ahead
Our ongoing partnership with Eat Well MCR is a testament to our shared belief in the power of community and the importance of giving back. We are incredibly proud to support an organisation that continues to make a significant impact in Manchester, and we look forward to the positive changes we can achieve together in 2024.
