Gaucho Manchester

Gaucho Manchester officially reopened its doors, following a significant refurbishment, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the landmark Deansgate restaurant and celebrating more than 25 years in the city.

Gaucho Manchester are now welcoming guests into its newly transformed interior space, where rich marble, warm timber, atmospheric lighting and refined finishes create an elegant setting within one of Manchester’s most distinctive 19th-century former churches. Original architectural features, including the church organ, remain central to the space, while the open kitchen places the theatre of the grill at the heart of the restaurant. The reopening marks a significant moment for Gaucho Manchester, bringing together a refreshed setting, a new menu and a series of experiences created to celebrate its return.

To mark the occasion, Gaucho has created the Whiskey Glaze Ribeye (£45), a Manchester-exclusive dish available only at the Deansgate restaurant until 14 September. The 300g ribeye is finished with a rich whiskey glaze and smoked tableside over cherry wood, served under a cloche to bring an element of theatre to the table. Created especially for the reopening, the dish puts Gaucho’s signature steak offering firmly at the centre of its new Manchester chapter.

The new menu, curated by Culinary Director Anthony Ekizian, brings together Gaucho’s renowned prime cuts and signature Churrasco with vibrant dishes inspired by the flavours of Latin America. Alongside the new Manchester Special, guests can enjoy dishes including King Prawn Sugo, Scallops with lemongrass, chilli and mango, Seabream with corn humita, and Flat Iron Chicken with matcha and lime.

The reopening is also being celebrated with the Gaucho Golden Ticket. From 14 to 31 August, one lucky table dining at the newly reimagined Deansgate restaurant will have their entire bill covered every day, as Gaucho’s way of thanking Manchester for its continued support as the restaurant enters its next era.

Gaucho Manchester will also be home to the exclusive Belvedere Martini Bar experience, creating a dedicated destination for cocktails, pre-dinner drinks and late-night serves. Available only at Gaucho Manchester’s 47-seat bar, the cocktail menu brings together classic serves and contemporary creations, including the Classic Martini, Espresso Martini and Manchester-exclusive Nectar & Neon Martini, made with Belvedere Organic Vodka and honey for a smooth, floral finish. Bookings can be made online

The menu also features the Skinny Bee Spritz, combining Belvedere Organic Vodka, elderflower and Chandon, alongside the Belvedere 10 Luxury Martini, pairing Belvedere 10 Rare Vodka with Vault Coastal Dry Vermouth and served ice-cold with a 10g spoon of premium caviar.

For those looking for a smaller serve, the Classic Martini and Nectar & Neon are also available as perfectly proportioned ‘Tiny Tinis’. To celebrate the reopening, every guest dining at Gaucho Manchester between 14 and 31 August will receive a complimentary Tiny Tini, offering a first taste of the new Martini Bar.

With a new look, a Manchester-exclusive dish, a dedicated Belvedere Martini Bar and a series of reopening experiences, Gaucho Manchester is ready to welcome the city back through its doors.
