alto by San Carlo, Selfridges Announces Collaboration with Cotton Beach Club
This summer, alto by San Carlo announces an exclusive two-date summer series in collaboration with the iconic Cotton Beach Club Ibiza, bringing the spirit of the White Isle to the skyline of London.
This limited pop-up experience brings together two celebrated hospitality names for an afternoon of destination dining, immersive entertainment, and Mediterranean escapism. Set on the rooftop of Selfridges, at alto by San Carlo the events will take place on Saturday 29 August and Saturday 26 September, with reservations available for 4pm, into the night.
Cotton Beach Club Ibiza, located in Cala Tarida on Ibiza’s southwest coast, has defined the island’s contemporary beach club aesthetic since its conception. With its all-white design and Mediterranean views, it has become Ibiza’s definitive laidback destination.
Created exclusively for the collaboration, the menu brings together alto’s contemporary Italian approach with signature dishes from Cotton Beach Club Ibiza, celebrating the vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean.
Highlights include Red prawn tartare with burrata, lemon and pea shoots, Pappardelle with veal ragù and summer black truffle, and Tagliolini with lemon and caviar from alto, alongside Cotton Beach favourites such as John Dory with homemade Canary Island sauce, Hierbas Ibicencas sea bass baked in salt, Tom Kha saffron mussels, and Sirloin with chimichurri. Throughout the events, a roaming caviar belt will make its way through the restaurant, serving rich Italian sturgeon caviar with blinis. To finish, a trio of Mediterranean-inspired dolci, including lemon sorbet, classic tiramisu and crema catalana, or indulge in the roaming cannoli bar alongside refreshing Sgroppinos.
Guests are invited to dine from the limited-time menu and the restaurant’s main menu throughout the evening. Inspired cocktails will feature alongside limited-edition serves of Riviera inspired table side serves of Rosé and Champagne served over ice.
Bringing Ibiza to London in style, each evening will feature the Cotton Beach Club residents, including live DJ sets, saxophone performances, and percussion artists, as they bring the Balearic energy of a Cotton Beach sunset session. Post-dinner, guests are invited to continue the evening at the bar area as the atmosphere evolves into a late-night setting.
The collaboration between alto by San Carlo and Cotton Beach Club Ibiza is a limited two-date summer series connecting Ibiza’s much-loved beach destination with Selfridges London rooftop setting for a short seasonal run.
From July, alto transforms into a celebration of La Dolce Vita; guests are invited to linger, unwind, and savour the philosophy of dolce far niente – the sweetness of doing nothing – as the rooftop comes alive with atmosphere, flavour, and experiences. At the heart of the celebration is a newly commissioned installation designed to mirror the romance and vibrancy of Mediterranean summers, as it trails its way across the rooftop and entrance.
alto will also feature summer editions, including lemon tagliolini with caviar, red prawn tartare with burrata and roast aubergine with ricotta, alongside generous sharing dishes served table side, Amalfi lemon sorbets, Tiramisu and iced Sicilian lemon-shell sorbets. The drinks menu takes centre stage with refreshing spritzes, Riviera cocktails, chilled white and rosé wines and Champagne served in table side troughs.
