We Are Indigo is proud to have partnered with Manchester’s iconic Techno promoters, Teletech, to bring a groundbreaking Drug Safety Conference to life.

In anticipation of their annual festival at BEC Warehouse on August 3rd and 4th, we joined forces with The Loop and DJs Rebekah and Azyr to raise awareness about the high-risk drugs currently circulating and to promote resources that help ensure people stay safe.

As members of the live events and rave community, we strive to foster a safer, more positive environment for music lovers.

Recently, The Loop published a study revealing an increase in the strength of MDMA in Bristol. This trend was also observed at the Parklife festival, just a few miles from BEC.

Our social media-driven campaign featured Teletech founders Anton Stevens and Tom Shelton, alongside DJs Rebekah and Azyr, who shared eye-opening statistics, including the rise in the average pill strength—from over 180mg of MDMA to 1 in 10 pills now exceeding 250mg in the past year. The campaign also provided advice on how to connect with welfare professionals at events and look out for your friends.

Designed to be both accessible and digestible for our audience, we were thrilled by the community’s positive response with shares from industry leaders like Mixmag, DJ Mag, The Acid Mind, and We Love Deep House.
